“The waiter was splendid.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013 via mobile

We ate here tonight, after being recommended by our hotel front desk staff. The food was a bit spicy, but very tasty. The wait staff was as professional and cordial as I have ever experienced. A major bonus was that by showing my motel room key, we received 25% off the bill. I will be back.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We were stopped in Idaho Falls while were were on a road trip to Las Vegas. We arrived in Idaho Falls at 8:00 pm. I chose both the hotel (La Quinta) and the restaurant based on their number one rankings on trip advisor and neither disappointed.

Jalisco's was fantastic! We started with margaritas and their hot cheese dip. The hot cheese dip was excellent. It was fresh and tasty, not just melted plastic cheese. My main course was the chipolte enchilada which was very good. Just the right amount of kick to it.

This is some of the best mexican I have had outside of Mexico and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an authentic mexican experience, not a "Chili's" experience.

“Not too Hot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

After traveling all day, this restaurant was still open on a Sunday evening. Friendly service, nice old Mexico atmosphere, and a good margarita got us ready for our dinner. Nice portions of authentic "old" Mexico style food. It is spicy, but not like New Mexico red chili hot.

“Unexpectedly Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012 via mobile

We stumbled into this restaurant after trying a few other restaurantss from the UrbanSpoon and wanting to gag. This turned out to be phenomenal. My boyfriend ordered the flautas which were Amazeballs! I had Carne Asada. The meat was delicious and juicy and the flour tortillas were fresh and tasty.

“good, but not great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

I picked the place based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and was not overly impressed. We had a good meal and it was decently priced, I was just hoping it would be better based on the marks it got here. We have places near us at home that are easily better.
