“Hotel Room & Accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Our room was excellent. Very clean and quite. The bed was comfortable and had a refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast was great. Lots of fresh fruit to choose from, cereal, eggs, omlette, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, bisquits and gravy, Juices, coffee, and hot chocolate just to name some of the items to choose from. In the evening they had 3 kinds of soup and breads from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to travelers.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Yellow Stone. Staff and hotel were fantastic! Clean rooms, free breakfast had sooo many choices it was incredible. Free soup, salad and other goodies for dinner every night, WOW! Every staff member we encountered was professional and they all seemed to be having a great time at work. When people love their jobs it really shows, fantastic guest service! Pool and hot tub were great after long days of driving and the workout room has well maintained equipment for a quick workout. the drive to Yellow Stone was not bad, about 2 hours each way but Sleep Inn is 1/3 the price of the hotels close to the park and you will not be able to beat the service or the free food!

I stayed two days and would recommend it to business travelers and families. Good breakfast in the morning and every night I was there, I think, one of the staff made soup for dinner. You'll have three kinds of soup, salad and a bread each night. Another reviewer said it wasn't on the weekend, but it was there when I was there Wednesday and Thursday. It's enough food to keep you going and pretty healthy. I was in the workout room every night to work off that soup and was usually by myself. I saw lots of families at night feeding themselves and their kids off that soup and salad. You'll save $$ that you can spend over at the worlds largest Army/Navy store nearby.

Dear CaptainPuget,

Thanks so much for taking the time to review us on Tripadvisor. Our soups are indeed hearty and healthy at the same time. Glad you got a lot of use out of the fitness room while you were here! We hope you'll be back to stay with us again soon.

This was a really nice, clean and comfortable hotel that exceeded my expectations. It was conveniently located off the freeway but very quiet. Loved the free internet and we made use of the coin operated laundry facility. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast had a lot of nice choices. The front desk staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here.

The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is that we asked for a playpen in our room as we were going to be checking in late and wanted to do a quick transfer of the baby- but there was no playpen in the room and we were too tired to go back and ask for one again. Other than that the breakfast was good- lots of options, an the rooms and bathroom were spotless. We would stay there again.

Matt, LaDean, and David are so awesome. Every time we stay here, the staff makes us feel like royalty. The hotel is clean, they serve fantastic food every morning (and dinner Sunday through Thursday evening). Really, they get everything right when it comes to running the hotel (cleanliness, fast check-in/check-out, good amenities, good food, good location, reliable shuttle service, great management, etc). But, what sets this place apart from the other hotels in the area is the quality of service. As far as we can tell...every single employee has been trained to go above and beyond what the guest expects. It's our favorite place to stay in Idaho Falls.

Room Tip: We haven't stayed in a bad room yet. There are no smoking rooms in the hotel...there never HAVE...

Green Features: They are definitely a green hotel. They have cards in the rooms indicating that you can re-use towels and stuff rather than having fresh ones put in each day. We also saw lots of energy efficient bulbs, energy star appliances, etc.

Finally stayed in a room on the Interstate side and found it was nice and quiet; have stayed multiple times on the west side facing the fields. The breakfast was a disappointment as the "hot" foods were cold and had to be microwaved; a good selection of pastry items though. The staff is one of the friendliest we've found...along with Europe. Had to set up a direct billing and the desk attendant was fully competent in doing this. Have found that many Choice brand facilities are going to "mini" pillows but this property still have a pillow where your head doesn't roll off if you turn over; still recommend you take your own pillow.

Dear KJA64,

Please accept our apologies for the cold food at breakfast. One of our buffet warmers had just broken that morning...and the young man who was cooking wasn't sure what to do to get keep breakfast going. We want you to know that we have already purchased new equipment...so, the next time you stay with us, you won't have the same issue.

Other than that, we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us, and we hope to see you again soon.
