“Lovely little weekend break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago via mobile

We stayed in this hotel in April for a long weekend. The hotel was just what we needed, with nice rooms and good views off the balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lido itself was a lovely place to stay and the restaurants served lovely food. The hotel is a few miles away from the restaurants and shops and took us about 20 minutes to walk, however you can walk along the beach which makes it much more scenic. If we were to go back to Venice we would definitely stay here again, recommended!

Brilliant hotel by the beach and a very Friendly Staff,All the Staff at the reception was very friendly and extremly helpful,To the extent that they would even walk out of the hotel to explain you directions if needed.
Breakfast was nice and simple.Rooms are a bit small and could have been designed a bit better but can't complain for the price we got it for.
20-30 mins slow walk to Lido ferry tmnl or direct busses (included in your Vaperatto Pass) every 10 minutes 24 hours.very comfortable stay!
Thanks!!

Wifey and I spent our first visit to Venice at this hotel. We had a blast. The location of the hotel is off the main island which added to the charm of both islands for us. We fully enjoyed the water taxi ride in to Venice, you can really soak up all that the city is. I wouldn't let the distance from Venice deter you, we actually viewed the journey as an enjoyable experience. We stayed here for 3 days, each day we took advantage of what the island of Lido had to offer during the morning/afternoon then headed over to Venice late afternoon and through the evening. The hotel was solid, the staff was extremely helpful, the room was very clean and spacious, we had an oceanfront balcony and although we came in October- we still enjoyed a morning stroll on the beach. The breakfast was basic but the coffee was good. Being an American, I understand that Europeans don't do breakfast the way we do but they certainly try. This hotel did a great job at everything. We were very pleased to call this our home during our stay in Venice.

Room Tip: Get an oceanfront room with balcony.

This hotel perhaps epitomises all that is wrong with the service industry in Venice. The beautiful city is so secure in its beauty and international renown that it considers itself above the normal rules of customer service which are applicable to the rest of the world. In no other country would this hotel be given four stars. We chose the hotel because of its beach location and internet reviews.

Situated between two much larger hotels this little one can be mistaken for an old apartment block. You have to walk down a steep decline to get to the underground reception. We were initially given a dark and depressing room on the first floor (actually at ground floor level). We were told there was a balcony. The balcony door would not open and the engineer was summoned. He wrenched the door open using brute force and we were treated to the sight of the main road just outside. There were no barriers at the door- we could literally have checked out without anyone knowing!

We paid for an upgrade and got a slightly more decent room on the second floor with its own balcony. The disappointing thing about this room (and balcony) was that it was overlooked by what appeared to be a public gym next door.

We could not get beach beds or umbrellas because the "season was over". The adjoining hotel guests were obviously not told the same thing as we saw then partaking fully of the joys of these simple contraptions.

The breakfast service was adequate. The hotel does not have a restaurant with a la carte meals. The beach was surprisingly good. The vaporetti station was twenty minutes away by bus following a short walk to the stop. Car parking is free in the roads opposite the hotel.

All in all a decent enough hotel with courteous staff but I would not stay again. But Vence being what it is I would not be surprised if the hotel was fully booked during the peak season.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for rooms with their own balcony on the first and second floors. None of the rooms on...

Leaving the hotel to go to the waterbus station was no issue (the bus station is just a block away), but we never seemed to have luck the way back.

Rooms are clean but small. The shower area can be a challenge if you are not exactly thin. Rooms don't have open-able windows but only doors leading to the terrace so ventilation can be an issue if you don't like air-conditioning.

Breakfast is normal hotel fare.

In all, nothing that warranted alarm but didn't exceed expectations.

We stayed here as part of our Globus tour. After leaving Venice and taking a short boat ride, we arrived at a very nice hotel which is right on the beach. Nice size room and our breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and took care of us when we asked for drinks.

we stayed last year at this hotel and we loved it!! the hotel is very clean quite modern and the services very good, we stayed for two nights and we would definately go back, the breakfast is very good as wel, good selection, they have cooked breakfast and pastries, very nice.
the only thing i have to say is that it is a bit far from the center of venice, you have to travel all the way to the lido and then get on the bus to get to the hotel, if you stay for longer than 1 or 2 nights then you don't mind travelling a bit.
Overall is that I can def recomend it!!
