“Great value and location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

This is a stylish hotel and for the money it doesn't get better in the Venice area. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast looked a bit average so we didn't bother but just ate in nearby cafés.

The location is great, you can be downtown in no time with the ferries but Lido is one of our favourite places in its own right. Cheaper and better food with better service.

We booked airline tickets through Esky and we received 7% discount on the hotel's prices.
Our room was No.119, 1-st floor, with a nice balcony facing the small pond with Lotus flowers.
It's a vast room that is very good for the summer and is facing to a beautiful villa. Queit & clean hotel, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful views all around the hotel. The price of double room in June is quite reasonable, it is Euro 113 for 2 nights.
As a whole Lido di Venezia is a beautiful island. The magnolia trees are with flavoured blossoms.
The sea is 100 metres away. Romantic and calm place.

I booked this hotel through a mystery deal so not by choice. The hotel is in desperate need of a good clean and TLC. I stayed in room 101 right of the lobby a small single with old mismatched furniture that seemed to be added to every day when I returned making me wonder if other rooms where "naked". I returned one day to find the desk had moved walls and a large lamp was added to the room, the next day another chair was added.
Bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were clean.

Beautiful old building though could do with updating. Rooms basic but comfortable beds. Linen and towels very clean and housekeeping did rooms regularly. Friendly helpful staff gave us a map and directions for getting round lido and venice on check in which was a big help.
An important thing to do is buy the venezia unica travel card on arrival so you can use on land buses and water buses to get round the islands. For seven days it was 50e and costs less for less days. We found it so useful and handy.
The hotel is in a lovely quiet part od lido. It's just three stops on bus ie 8-12 minute walk along sandro gallo road to main street of lido and water bus station for vaporetti to venice. From the public beach you walk about 15 minutes further along grand viale and st elisabetta the main streets. There are also lots of reasonable cafes restaurants and bars on main st as well as ovs a clothes store, billa a great supermarket and atms and pharmacies as well as newsagents and tobacco shops.
Near the hotel if you go out and turn left over the bridge there is a cafe veg shop and toiletries supermarket called tigota. The cafe is nice for coffee and pastry and lunch it's called Bar Bepi.
There was no kettle in room which we missed and not all rooms have balconies. It took us a while to work out how to open shutter there is a strap on the right beside the window which operates it. Once we figured that out the room looked cheerier abs nice view. The garden is lovely to sit in also. Fridge didn't work unfortunately.
Overall the hotel is basic but in a nice quiet location staff are friendly and the price is good for venice.

Stayed 4 days. Most of the time we were out all day. Only came back to sleep and wash. Slept very well, because it was very quite. Marlene was very kind, and helpful. If we ever go to visit Venice we will book it again.

We have just come home from a long-weekend at the Vila Parco Hotel. It is clean and comfortable and provides very good value for money. The décor reflects faded glory but then that is in keeping with Venice generally. All in all, as a history lover, it felt like a privilege to stay in this setting and I plan to find out more about this house generally (if anyone can send me information I shall be delighted). Lido is a pleasant island, the hotel is about a ten minute walk from the jetty but no problem. There are supermarkets where you can stock up on goodies for picnic later in the day if you should wish to. I thought it a very good deal.

Shades of faded glory but adequate accommodation. Breakfast extra and seemed basic. We choose to have breakfast in local cafes. However the hotel was clean and well situated, just a short bus ride and waterbus trip into Venice. The waterbuses are regular. We would reccomend buying a travel card which save queuing and money, single trips are very expensive. The staff were very helpful, giving tips on places to visit. We enjoyed staying on the Lido. Although we love Venice it was good to get away from the crowds and there are some good cafes and restaurants nearby.

Room Tip: Lower floor as there are no lifts.
