“Very Expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Nice location clean quiet hotel but very expensive and not 4 star.
Bathroom 1.2m x 2m, wobbly wardrobe, door that stuck at 240 euros per night this was not value for money.
If 80-100 euros probably OK

Dear Kind guest,

we are sorry you were not confortable at our hotel, we did not know about your complain at hotel or we could have tryed to solve your problem at the moment of your stay if possible.

From your description it seems to me that the room booked was an economy room.
Unfortunately the price can lift up when hotel is fully booked or in different period like congress, the famous Venice Film Festival which is here 10 minutes walking distance or other events being Lido the seashore with the most sports facilities of Venice and only 15 minutes away from San MarK square.

Please send us details from your reservation to help us get more information and try to improve our standards.

With Best Regards,
Andrea Napolitano

Can I kindly ask you what room category have you booked and your reservation number in order to check with your reservation?

I took my husband to Venice for his surprise 40th Birthday and we stayed on Venice Lido in the Biasutti. The hotel is built in an attractive venetian style and we stayed in room 306 which was of medium size, has a lovely balcony and views over gardens and roof tops. The room was attractively decorated and the bathroom although a little dated, had a fantastic shower and was beautifully clean. Venice itself is breath taking and you do need to get a vaporetto daily to explore this but Lido itself is charming and a lovely place to retreat to after a hectic day. The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough to help- particularly good for information for getting to places and choosing good restaurants. The lobby is clean with a pretty seating area and there is loads of choice at breakfast. Really lovely and would 100% recommend staying. I was a little concerned before we stayed as I had read some very negative reviews but we found it to be fantastic.

Room Tip: Our advice would be to ask for a room on level 3 upwards as these seemed to have views and it is wor...

Room was comfortable, clean, quiet, relaxing, though small. Location was perfect for out of the crowd and a boat ride away from everything. We stayed 3 nights following a 12 day cruise, so out of the crowds was most welcome! We bought a 7 day vaporetto pass (no 4 day) which was our ticket to anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff was helpful though pace quite laid back! Wifi in room worked great, but lobby pc/printer took almost an hour to print boarding passes (: Loved the atmosphere of a beach town!

Room Tip: Loved the little balcony!

Another reviewer complained about weak Wi-Fi; it seems that has been fixed - it worked well in both the lobby and room 106.
It didn't work in the laundry room where it could have been used to translate user instructions on the washer and dryer.
There was no garbage can in the room so dryer lint was piled up beside the machine.
There was a bag of what must have been laundry detergent on a table, but no cup to measure it into the washer.
My highest outrage is reserved for the 20 Euro fee charged to use the washer - 5 would have been more than fair.

Room Tip: Room 106 has a balcony, but small indoor space. Other rooms, without balcony, are much larger.

Dear Guest,

thanks for your review, it is always useful to have a feedback from the guest in order to get points to see what we can improve.

We offer guests laundry service as by our tradition by our governant and more recently added (especially for groups who requests it in low season) a self service laundry for guests which is in the exterior and down part of the garden. unfortunately we have tryed in the past to send wi-fi signal to that area but down there is a little bit too shielded and the signal is not reachable.
For the price of the laundry it is assigned by management and it includes the laundry self service, the use of the dryer machine, and ironing but the normal laundry service is always available.

With Best Regards,
Andrea Napolitano

I checked the hotel online and it seemed good, but what i found was the opposite, the rooms are tiny and really old, the floor looks dirty and you can even smell the dust in the rooms as if the furniture never saw the light of day, all this not to mention the Ant colony roaming around the room. The tv barely works, no Internet in the rooms and very weak signal in the lobby. Funny enough it has a 4* rating which is misleading. I would give it 2 and I would be generous.

Gentile sig. Bassam,

Cordialmente,
Andrea Napolitano

After spending the day in the city this is a great place to relax. The Hotel is a five minute walk from the ferry port. Also only a short walk to the huge beach. So if you fancy a break from the city for a while no problem! The hotel has that old world charm that you would expect from the region.Breakfast was okay if you are only here for a short while, would get a little boring if you stayed for a week. The Bar is okay if you just want a nightcap at the end of the day. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The rooms again are okay but the bathroom not over large. One problem we found was we were bitten by bugs. Can't say for sure it was the hotel but had heard someone else had this problem.Overall this was a good value for money hotel and we would use it again.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the vaporetto. After exploring Venice all day, it was nice to come back to relax in charming Lido. The hotel is in a quiet residential area and there are some good restaurants close by. My sister and I were thrilled with the old Venetian charm of our room with its hand painted furniture. Our room had a balcony and we sat out with our wine in the evening. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the breakfast was okay but I was disappointed in the vending machine coffee. I did find a coffee vendor down the road and they made the best cappuccinos. I would definitely stay at this charming hotel again.
