we had been told to try this establishment, coming highly recommended by friends...
we had two dos equis on tap..great, followed by the combination..tamale/enchalada and a pork taco, all this to be split. we asked for the combination to be all chicken. the taco came, hard shell out of a box (is it that hard to make them yourselves??), but the taco had great chunks of pork and was tasty. the tamale, on the other hand was unedible and un recognizable. never seen anything like it. . the outside had something similar to a corn dog outside, and the meat (was there any?) was pork..oh, she said, we only make pork...humm, could have been a good time when we ordered to tell us. i can't even explain what the tamale looked like, and the outside dough was slightly burned. i have had many tamales, and would have never know what this was, had i not ordered it!!
she did bring us a great chicken, tomatillo enchalada to try and it was good.
i would never come back, as we have a real favorite in hailey, and should have gone there.
also, the mexican coleslaw, that is given for a free appetizer, was left out for a while..couldn't tell if it was seafood, or just veges. the chips were all broken, and was hard to find one to use with the great salsa.
