BJ and I had to be in Emmett on an errand and stopped by the Beijing restaurant for a quick bite to eat, not expecting much. Good Asian food is hard to find in this part of the West, unless you're in bigger places such as Boise, and the city of Emmett is a smaller country town. We were pleasantly surprised! The menu card is extensive, with both Asian and American items, which makes it easier for selective eaters, and contains besides the more traditional fares a large selection of chow meins and chop sueys. BJ ordered Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice, and I requested Moo Goo Gai Pan with steamed rice. Both dishes were served hot, with a variety of crunchy, fresh vegetables and well sized chunks of meat. We were pleasantly surprised at the great taste, the huge quantity of food and the low dollar amount on the bill. The service was friendly, quick and efficient and helpful with recommending dishes. If you are in the area, definitely give this restaurant a try!
