Sometimes one just gets so livid that they need to express their feelings about past events.
My thoughts rest with the Japan House Suites in Coeur d'Alene (CDL) This place was suggested to me by another motel owner as redone and clean.
First, the problem was with the price. . .$140 plus tax which put it at about $149.00 for weeknites and weekdays. We were in a pinch but took it. But this is not over a $90 room in this area.
So spoke to the lady next door in the morning and for the same two queen beds, she said she was billed $113.00 with tax per nite.. . .*Y^**$*(
Then all extras were made a big deal of like:
"We offer you free coffee in the room, and that is complementary to you from us of course."
Then the same thing with breakfast, and again for towels. . .
Oh, and breakfast. . .the guests were served one on one by one tired lady/co-owner. She just told everyone to have a seat and relax and she would get to them. . .yeahhh. . .15 minutes later. . .and all the tables were full. . .You had to ask for each thing that you wanted. . .guessing what was on the menu.
The second day, they said they ran out of coffee so none would be put in the room. . .
And, they didn't let guests use the computer in the reception area of their orfice because "there were virus's out there and stuff."
And that is "what their computer savvy daughter recommended to them". . .C'mon, there are millions of places who have figured it out. . .
Not a great experience and I would never stay there again.
