“Very creative and exceptional flavors.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

This has to be my favorite breakfast place ever! The breakfast items are unique and exceptional in flavor and presentation. Don't worry about the long line on Sunday morning. It goes by fast and is well worth the wait.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

Creative menu representative of local cuisine. We had the sockeye salmon and duck sausage omelette. My kids all order Nutella stuffed French toast. I would of liked to try everything. If you are a true foodie, it wasn't perfect. The salmon was over cooked and the potatoes were a little under cooked. Only real hard core foodies would pick up on this. The French Toast was flawless. Overall, the flavors were great, the menu was creative. The service was good. I really enjoyed and would live to go back. There was a small line. Get there early.

“Great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

We were on a recent road trip returning to Washington after staying the night in Sand Point, ID. I looked up someplace to have breakfast in Coeur d'Alene and found The Garnet Cafe. Loved it. Very fast, friendly service (we sat at the counter). Awesome food. Good vibe. Thank you Trip Advisor. We hope to go again some time.

“Awesome place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, and it was one of their creative options on the menu - believe it or not, I had spaghetti - not your mamma's plate however. It was a "white" spaghetti, a lighter sauce with parmesan and a fried egg on top. connected with the sour dough toast option, it was excellent indeed!
Small place back in a neighborhood, a dozen blocks north of the downtown area. Get there early, or you will have to wait for seating.

Freshest, best breakfast menu in town. absloutley wonderful service. Delightful ambiance. Green eggs and ham is my favorite. ( scrambled eggs with pesto. ) toast comes with fresh lemon curd and raspberry jam!
