“Great place to get a full meal in the area!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

One of the best places to get a full meal in the Bonners Ferry area. Realizing this is a truck stop cafe, the food I have ordered here is good & the service is quick! My fave item to order is the Chicken Fried Steak. I order mine with mashed potatoes. Loads of gravy over both & you get a veggie & roll too, plus your choice of soup or salad. I also like the fish & chips. The service is usually very good & the coffee is good too! I recommend this place, great for locals & great for folks traveling through.

“Nice Cafe, great coffee”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

This is a busy little cafe, with your typical cafe/truck stop menu. What makes it really special is the super friendly service. They have a limited breakfast menu that they serve all day, which is nice for those days when you feel like breakfast for dinner. Their coffee is also better then most, I think because they are on a different water system then the city. Fridays is all you can eat fish, which is a great value. They have a revolving selection of pies, which are always good. Great place to gas up, get snacks or drinks for the road, or even pick up a few last minute necessities for camping.

“This is your standard truck stop diner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Simple, simple, simple. Nothing special about this place, but you will walk away with a full belly. So if you are looking for that 'hidden gem in The Gem State' this ain't it! Not bad, just not exciting.

“Good food for travelers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

I stop at 3 mile when in Bonners Ferry. The help is always good. They usually have great food and the prices are about average. Don't be surprised by the fact that 3 mile is located in the truck stop at the very north end of town. Show up anytime and you will find the "locals" eating there also. Friday nites are all you can eat fish and chips and it is all you can eat, even when you think you are done they will drop another piece of fish on your plate....)

“good downhome cooking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Very good food with the taste of home cooking. The portions were actually large and we left with food on our plates because we were full. So if you like the taste of home cooking and comfort food......stop on in and give it a try!
