“Don't stay on 4th Floor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This is an excellent hotel, but as we found out, the 4th floor was formally a smoking floor and even though it was converted 4 years ago, the smell still lingers. They have sprayed all the rooms so it smells even worse with room deodorizer. If you are sensitive to smoke, try another floor.
Breakfast is excellent. Hotel is upscale.

Stayed over for one night traveling to McCall, ID. Very clean, nice big rooms, very good staff, breakfast was very good and included. Great place to stay while in Boise. There was nothing about this place I didn't like. I would definitely stay here again. It is in the middle of an area that offers lots of options on shopping, restaurants, etc.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor room

I've stayed in nearly every hotel in Boise, but this one is my very favorite! Not only is it plenty big for my super tall husband, and two children (that are young, but very tall as well), but they offer a great breakfast in the morning that is plenty to eat! Also, the separate sofa/desk area is perfect for a parent who doesn't sleep well (me), and hubby appreciates that the tv swivels to point away from the beds and toward the sofa when everybody is sleeping (except me). Separate kitchen area has a good size fridge for leftovers. Also, no "mini-bar" crap to tempt the children.

Staff has always been top notch. Pool is INDOORS (it's Idaho, that's a must). Just a great place all the way around.

Room Tip: Ask for a "non-connected" room that doesn't have the divider door. Not sure what I do...

We only stayed one night in Boise on a stopover. There was really nothing wrong with this Hyatt Place but the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (given it was so small). I have come to expect more from Hyatt Place and this was simply average for that chain.

this hotel is in a great location for shopping, dining, and access to main highways/roads. There was some construction going on, so traffic was a little heavy. It's not far from downtown and right across from the mall. Check in was very quick and employees were smiling and friendly. We were able to check in early which made our trip a lot easier. There are 4 floors at this property, we were on the 3rd. It was very quiet in spite of the main roads being so close. The rooms are comfortable, have plenty of space and offer media hook ups to the TV.

Great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms and outstanding service, thanks Meagan! Across the street from Town Square mall and lots of available restaurants nearby. Free expanded breakfast and airport shuttle service.

This was my first time in Boise and my first time at the Hyatt Place. When we got to our room, it did smell like cigarette smoke a little, but the room itself was very nice and the bed very comfortable. What made it so excellent were the staff. Particularly Jack and Sara!! They completely went out of their way for us. Jack spent time going over a map of Boise, showing us all the great places to see. Sara was so kind making sure we had what we needed. We were always greeted as if we were long lost friends! LOL I would most definitely stay there again!!
