I have stayed here three times now. This is what a hotel should be. The staff is excellent (first trip I left my suit at home -- don't ask, but they helped me find a store, and contacted me immediately when my wife's FedEx package arrived with my suit). Every employee has been nothing short of very friendly and helpful. The hotel in general is new, nicely designed and well maintained.
The breakfast room is open and bright with plenty of tables any time I have been there. This is not the case in every Homewood suites.
As my Hilton Honnors status has improved (now a VIP Diamond) my upgrades have gone from standard room to one bedroom suite to two bedroom suite. Very nice to get the recognition -- now only if the full service Hiltons would do that!
The hotel is surrounded by several restaurants, and if you want to shop and stock the kitchen Walmart is right down the street (walkable).
I never have anything bad to say about my "home away from home" in Boise -- that alone says alot!
