I stayed at this Residence inn for 1 week while attending some training nearby. This hotel is right off the highway and across the street from a mall. There are plenty of restaurants, stores and supermarkets close by. I enjoyed the cold temperature since I am from Florida. It was in the 30-40s in Idaho when it was in the High 80s in Florida. The scenery is beautiful. Snow capped mountains surround Boise. The people there are friendly and courteous, also good drivers. The hotel is clean and modern the staff is very friendly. The bed is comfy and the suite has all the accommodations of home. Living room with TV and couch, desk with internet and phone. Kitchen with fridges, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker. plates, glasses silverware, dining table. Do not wash the dishes, housecleaning does it for you. This is the place to stay if you need to stay for more than a few nights.
The breakfast buffet is great. It includes coffee, juices, milk, cereal, muffins, fruit, eggs, sausage bacon, biscuits, gravy, pancakes. It is just what the Doctor ordered when you have a long day ahead of you.
The hotel even has some happy hour and social but I did not ever go. I think there is a pizza night as well. This is all on a magnetic calendar on your fridge so you know.
When I checked out in the early AM in order to catch a flight the employee was sleeping in the lobby furniture so I just left my key on the front desk and wrote a note with the room number. There was no problem.
try Romio's Pizza on N Milwaukee St. across from the mall. & Sizzler is good too for steak.
