We've gone here several times and always had good service and great food. Only complaint would be the restaurant is noisy and carrying on conversations at your own table is difficult.

Have eaten here a couple of times. Have found the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant to be best thing about the place. The food is just OK. My mother ordered a turkey sandwhich and wanted to substitute the focaccia bread. They only have sliced white bread from a bag and hamburger buns as substitute to focaccia bread on sandwhiches. Very surprised at how limited for a large restaurant. So she had a turkey sandwhich on white wonder bread. Heavy seasonings and garlic used in other dishes that were ordered at our table. So overall, the entrees were just OK for the four of us. Must say, excellent, raspberry creme brulee. The wait staff was average, nothing special. Probably will not return very often to this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I frequent this restaurant because nothing lacks in the following...food...creativity...knowledge...staff. The building is beautiful, immaculate, high ceilings and a huge warm stone fireplace inside. Our favorite, however, is the patio in summertime. A romantic setting, with a brook running through, and beautiful greens and flowers abounding...the perfect setting with candlelight also! The staff is so knowledgable about the food and it's preparation! The chef, also owner, hand picks the meats that come fresh daily, he is meticulous about his work, and it shows! We have eaten here over 10 times, and have never been dissapointed. Best food and service in town. The staff actually goes to a waiter "college" to get trained...very professional, friendly, and knowledable! Also, menu switches up a lot, best dish I ever had was believe it or not--sturgeon! I go out to eat at fine dining establishments in Boise frequently, and this is by far my favorite place.
