This was our first time in Boise & we couldn't have found a better place for our 4 day stay. Friendly, helpful staff, clean spacious rooms, excellent indoor pool, expanded breakfast buffet, and yummy warm cookies in the evening. All were excellent reasons to stay here again. The staff even went so far as to give us driving directions "the locals use" when an accident on the freeway threatened to make us late for our appointment.

So you think you have a reservation to stay at the Ameritel. Don't count on it! On two of my eleven stays at this hotel, the desk clerk could not find my reservation in their computer. I even called to confirm my reservation the last visit but it was not there at check in time. If the rooms were nice it might be worth overlooking this slip up. But they are nothing special. The hotel is renovating some of the rooms and my friends had a somewhat nicer room with updated decor and newer furniture on another floor.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Town Center shopping mall and they have a second location next to the Edwards Cinema Complex. These are convenient locations which is why I have stayed there so often. The hotel had a very attractive complimentary breakfast they has given way to stale pastry and a fairly crowed room. It is very popular with families in for a shopping trip to the malls. You should expect babies and young children demonstrating their exuberance as they run up and down the hallways.

We drove through Boise on vacation on our way to the Oregon Coast and we had the most beautiful suite at the Ameritel in Boise. We made a point of coming back through there to stay another night! The second room was even more beautiful with an upstairs bedroom, full jacuzzi tub and kitchen area. It was very classy and the rates were unbelieveably reasonable. I hope I can find an Ameritel here in Denver!
