Delightful formal gardens. £3.50 entry at time of visit.
It is quite compact - but then there is also the walk up through the woods to the tower to enjoy.
And contributing to the upkeep of a historic garden makes sense to me.
Tea room looked promising and a good flat path the length of the gardens means most of the views are accessible - though to see every inch of the gardens entails quite a few steps.
After your visit recommend continuing up the immensely scenic single track road to Croesor where there is an interesting community run cafe and art gallery and also good parking space for walks towards Cnicht.
