I attended a dear friend's wedding at Ashford Manor. Normally I'm hesitant about staying at B&Bs (after enduring several too-intimate and not-entirely-professional establishments in the past) but Ashford Manor changed my attitude completely. The house itself is wonderful - every inch is cleverly and whimsically decorated, and each room has been thought out to the last detail (yes, I saw them all!). There was a fantastic coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker in our room, and fresh flowers in the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept well all three nights.
Our breakfasts were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Dave and Mario (and Jessie) went to great lengths to make sure our friend's wedding rolled smoothly looked beautiful - and it looked so beautiful! Every picture we took was enhanced by the environment they created. They are incredibly considerate and kindly hosts, and Ashford Manor is clearly a labour of love for them.
I'm determined to go back...even if it's a long day of travel to get there!
