I stayed there with my 2 year old and husband for one night. We kept our socks and slippers on of course, and when we woke the next morning our legs and ankles (were our socks stopped) were red and bitten up, extremly itchy. My husband kept waking up in the middle of the night becasue he felt something crawling on him he eventually killed whatever it was. We also saw baby roaches crawling around on the bathroom floor and even on the desk where we had our Burger King meals, needless to say that all went in the trash and in the morning we took everything outside to be shaken out. I stayed at the hotel last summer and my husband said he say roaches but didnt want to tell me. The only thing i liked was the availability of a crib, because we'd forgotten ours and check out. The breakfast was bland. My 2year old didnt even want to eat his blueberry pancakes, so we had to take him to Burger King. The front desk staff we really nice, polite, and friendly.

I stayed here last night as part of a group on business and have no idea what the price was so I can't compare value. However, this is an older property with all the rooms accessed from the outside breezeways - no indoor corridors.

It was probably recently refurbished because the carpeting in the room and the wallpaper appeared to be quite new. However, the furnishings and the bedspreads were dated and worn. The actual sheets were superior hotel quality and the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was not refurbished and the tile was old. Unfortunately, when I climbed in the shower this morning and closed the curtain, I spotted mildew all across the top of the inside curtain. Otherwise, the room "seemed" clean.

I went to the lobby to meet my party and made sure to tell the front desk the issue with the mildew. They seemed concerned and apologized. While waiting in the lobby for my group, another guest came to check out and reported her shower was full of hair. After she left, the desk personnel called housekeeping to find out who was responsible for the room.

Bottom line - the management tried to correct the concerns, but if the employees are that sloppy, they won't change. About a mile west are other brand new hotels which are the same level as a Holiday Inn. This place works as a last resort only.

The Holiday Inn was $1 more than the Days Inn, so I chose to stay here for my uncle's funeral. First problem, there was no parking. We had to park way away from our room which was a bigger hassle than you might think. Next, the iron malfunctioned and nearly ruined my husband's funeral shirt. When I called the front desk to get a new one, it took another call and an hour later to get a replacement. I know this could happen anywhere, but it was such a problem for me that I will probably be carrying my own iron from now on! Towels were so thread bare that there were holes. I'm not too good to use them, I have some at home just as bad, just thought it was worth mentioning. Mirror had gook on it (I think it was permanent). I gave the tub the inspection for whether or not I'd be taking a bath or shower. It passed, so I planned the bath. What I didn't know was the tub had been recoated with coarse sand paper, yuck. The motel was for the most part clean and the beds were comfortable, but I will try the Days Inn next time.

I stayed there for one night for what was to be a two night business trip. It was definitely the worst hotel I've stayed in but cleanliness and comfort left a lot to be desired.
