The Savannah Beach Inn on Tybee Island is the perfect location for relaxing in a comfortable, welcoming historic home just a block away from a beautiful beach. The extremely friendly staff will spoil you with a breakfast that rivals any restaurant in Savannah followed later by afternoon wine and munchies to ease you into the evening.
The Savannah Beach Inn provides chairs and towels for the day at the beach, and a fully stocked beverage refrigerator ensures that you can beat the heat! Rainy days are not a washout with a huge covered wraparound porch, perfect for curling up with a book or browse through a large selection of movies on DVD.
Southern hospitality and charm at its best! We’ll be back!

The Savannah Beach Inn was absolutely marvelous! I have read all the other bad reviews and to those folks I say: Stay Home, you are way too picky! The Inn was wonderful and the staff made our stay even better. They are friendly, helpful, and worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was clean, fresh towels always available, the wine and cheese every day, brownies, cookies, breakfast, you name it it was all fabulous! We stayed in the Marshall Suite and saw the most incredible sunrises ever. We stayed for 1 full week and Ann the innkeeper was kind enough to cut us a deal on the daily room rate. I sure do miss having Miss Patty's grits every morning! I think that those folks who had a problem with the Inn, perhaps went there with an attitude to begin with!

We will definately be back!

This place was such a disappointment. The pictures on the website are from 3-4 years ago after their renovation. When we stayed a few weeks ago there were a series of blue tarps holding the roof together! There are water leaks and mold problems in almost every room.

When you speak to the Innkeeper Ann about the problem she completely ignores you or talks over you when you bring up concerns.

Is this really what you get for $400 dollars a night in the wedding suite? The place is as bizarre as the owner. There are no 4 stars here. We are getting married there in a few weeks and it is an embarrassment that our family has to pay to stay in a place that looks like it is falling apart. That was our mistake, believe me.

Don't even think of having an event here it is moldy, dirty, expensive and not in great shape.

What a great trip to Tybee Island. The historic B & B was antiqued filled in a lovely setting a stone's throw to the beach. I could hear the ocean waves at night lulling me to sleep in the big super comfy bed. The inn was quite clean and smelled of cookies, apples, cinnamon and fresh linen. Breakfast was a friendly affair with scrumptious food and good company. It was the best value for money I have ever spent on a vacation. The innkeepers were always helpful and friendly.
