The Wind Rose is one of my favorite places for lunch and people watching. I wouldn't go to Tybee without eating there at least once or twice. It doesn't look like much but some of the best food comes out of that tiny little kitchen. They have different lunch specials depending on the day of the week (like fried chicken on monday, shepherds pie on tuesday and so on) and they're all good. The regular menu is also pretty good and you can come back at night to experience the surly bartender "Jimbo" and drink pitchers of cheap beer. Definitely a blue collar sort of place where the braver tourists mix with redneck locals. It's a lot of fun.
