Great place for a casual family lunch. Food is very good and prices were fair. We enjoyed the fried strawberries.

“BEST EVER!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Down to get married, one of our great friends found Coco's, let him in early to get out of the cold and wind, little did Smoke, Tracy, Mary, Denny and the rest of the staff know they were going to be adopting us and Us them ( know we are getting the better end of that deal !!!).

Must Stop- Do not miss Coco's !!!

In the corner of the marina - first right across the bridge -down and gravel road and sharp right, cozy fun place with a Huge Heart and Nobody is a stranger.

GO EARLY STAY LATE

Went sack on Saturday prior to 5 pm wedding for lunch - We felt like we had been transported bsck to Kwywest, where we had first started dating,

Cold drinks, Warm comfortable wirh GREAT FOOD, Fresh Shrimp Seafood , Wide variety on the menu, something you want and dont see - JUST ASK!!! all at great prices

Do not be alarmed to find couples getting up and dancing, and asking you to join in.

We had dinner reservations in Savananh on Saturday after the wedding but due to really bad weather, we had to cancel 45 minute drive to Savanah - - Tracy and her staff set us up a special menu, table, decorations flowers , Balloons, all within a hour notice. 5 Star without the stuff atmosphere

When we arrived the entire resturant stood up called us out by name and congratulated us as if family and many stopped by to introduce themselves, shake hands, and wish us well .

As traditons in Keywest at Sunset would hsve it Coco's have as special surpise for all of you who have the the luck to be there as the sunsets -Rain or Shine.

Be sure to say hello to Smoke behind the bar ,huge smile, Tracy unassuming with a quick laugh, and will make it happen, Denny (if you show up early you may get lucky and get to help him set up the dinning room , and Mary -who made us laugh, with her depan demenor and quick wit as a proffessional and would be "Terrified" if we left with paying.

Make this a stop and you will find your self spending your vacation at Coco's, making new friends, and finding Home again .

“FRIED STRAWBERRIES!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

My in-laws took us for dinner at CoCo's as it was one of their favorite restaurants in Tybee. I think we'd have to agree, it was one of our favorites too. The service was fantastic and even though we couldn't sit at the bar for the Sunset toast because it was trivia night (tuesday's, fyi), we still had a great time. We got the fried scallops (yum), fried shrimp (pretty good), crab cake dinner (yum!) and fried grouper (yum!). And for dessert, do NOT miss the fried strawberries!!!!! They are coated in pancake batter and deep fried then drizzled with a strawberry frosting, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a psssht of whipped topping. AMAZING. My mother-in-law is determined to figure out how to make them at home, but perhaps it's best she not figure it out!

“We would definitely go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Tucked away on the edge of Tybee island Coco's is well worth seeking out. We went on the upper deck and it was cool in a strong March evening breeze but the view of the marsh and the developing sunset was too good to miss. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy. No complaints about the food either - generous portions at fair prices, quality was very good too (steamed shrimp dinner, Mediterranean pasta, crab cakes and child's chicken with fries). Key lime pie was a great way to finish an enjoyable meal.

“Hidden gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Saw good ratings for restaurant, so gave it a try while we were returning from Tybee Island. Last bridge out of Tybee Island, the road to the left leads to a hidden gem. You can rent a jet ski, buy fresh fish and shrimp, charter a boat, join a dolphin cruise, or eat at a very good restaurant. We ate. Bartender/waitress greeted us as soon as we went through the door. Mid afternoon and there were several people eating. Very friendly staff. I ordered the fried scallops, added a crab cake, with onion rings, hush puppies, and slaw. Older daughter ordered boiled shrimp, and younger daughter ordered a hamburger with fries. Scallops were buttery good. Crab cake was well seasoned, not lump crab but one would not expect this in low country. Very good crab cake. Onion rings tasted beer battered and very good. Shrimp were fresh. Sign out back points to where the shrimp actually come from, the boats are docked right behind the restaurant. The menu said the shrimp with special seasoning, but could have used much more seasoning and maybe some beer for my taste. Daughter dropped one and almost cried from the loss.....Youngest ate almost all her burger,so I assume it was acceptable as well. Waitress was very attentive keeping glasses filled, and making sure we did not need anything. Definitely will return on next trip. Reasonably priced and good food beats fancy decor and high prices of the more common area restaurants. Afterward walked out back through the marsh, so the kids will get a good view of marsh and maybe an alligator. All we saw was a cat, domestic kind. Very large deck where you can look over the boats docked below. They apparently will clean the fish you catch on the charters, so if the kids are there at the right time they could get a full show. The hidden gem that just keeps on giving.
