“Older building but clean. Pictures and description are accurate.”
Stayed in Paris's Paradise.
Three adults, so we used the full bed and one pull out. Two twin size pullouts and the one we used was fine. Six adults would be comfortable as long as two were ok sleeping on twin.
Building and room are old, but most everything on Tybee is old. New enough to be be on stilts (more than enough space for crawl space) but the there is a newer set of buildings on stilts high enough to park under. Four buildings in all.
One good size pool. Stayed on labor day weekend and the pool was never crowded. Some of pictures are from the pool deck and upper pool deck. The boardwalk in pictures is used by all four buildings. Once again, never was crowded.
Not in middle of town. Take first left once inhabited part of island is reached. Easy to get out of town to visit Savannah. Right at two miles from Tybee pier. Lighthouse and North beach is one mile and can be accessed by side roads or walking on beach.
Beach next to resort nonexistent at High tide, but that does not last long. Beach is accessible most of the day. Beach is packed sand. Good for walking on. Beach faces toward North Bay, not out toward ocean. Nice view of sundown. View from room is great. Pool is below and bay is view-able from room. Their are rooms which directly face water. Room to beach is less than two minutes.
Though close to pool noise is nonexistent when sliding door is shut. Wifi is broadcast from pool room. Room is close enough to receive wifi in living room and kitchen and of course on the room deck, but not in bedroom.
Checked for bugs and mold as soon as we arrived. All good.
Only true negatives were two. Sliding glass door for deck was not sliding correctly, but it worked. Other issue was bathroom. Clean, no mold (anywhere). Wallpaper was not prepped correctly. Peeling on most edges. Did not use stove or any of the small appliances except microwave. It worked fine.
Condo is on second floor. About eight steps to first floor and roughly thirty more steps to second floor.
Doors are on inside hallway. Like wallpaper in bathroom, public hallway is clean and kept up but not by experts. Paint was not prepped correctly, so it was peeling in places.
Apparent by parking passes on vehicles that building is rented by multiple different rental companies. Parking is gated. Two parking spaces.
Family with small kids was in room next to us. In hallway, when their door was open they were very loud. We heard nothing from neighbors while inside our room.
I must mention that the bathroom toilet was small. Old style and if you are a bigger individual the use of this will be uncomfortable but workable. Shower and sink were normal.
Clean, easy access to beach and gated parking.
Building seemed aged.
