First timers to Tybee Island. Stopped at the pavilion that seems to be the main entrance to their beach and enjoyed a blustery, windy and overcast cool walk on the beach. Saw some crazy sail surfers literally flying over and on the waves, a couple of huge container ships headed into Savannah and had a very long walk on the beach all the way to one end. Tybee was nice enough to provide a nice walkway off the beach and we got a chance to see some of the beach houses on our way back to the parking area. Seems like EVERYWHERE on Tybee Island parking is at a premium and at a cost. Parking meters everywhere. Great source of income I suspect but very tacky in our estimation.
