5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012 via mobile

My fiancé and I stayed here on our way back to OH from FL. It was a very spacious room with a couch and coffee table. The price was right and the close proximity to Rock City and Ruby falls was perfect for us. I would stay here again if I was making the long trek to FL by car.

We were on our way south to visit family and decided to stop at this Days Inn. We were surprised; it was updated with new decor, clean & comfortable. The desk clerk was helpful in offering ideas for dinner and directions. The breakfast was nice also.

I travel thru the Chattanooga area about 26 times a year on a 7 hour drive to my destination.. On those occasions that I bring my 5 year old with me, we often need to spend the night half way. Days Inn in Trenton, GA allows me to have a clean, quiet, safe place to stop for the night at a reasonable price. It isn't fancy, it is just a nice, reliable budget hotel - which is all I ask of it.

Room Tip: I like ground floor rooms the best.

The rooms are old and in ok shape......OK is a pretty good description of the place. Served its purpose! Better then staying in Chattanooga and driving down.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2011

At nearly the last minute, got $52 rate online for Fri/Sat even though weather was perfect, nearby fall colors were near peaking and the nearby state park's pricey cabins were long, long booked up (Cloudland Canyon state park cabins not pricey for groups maybe, but we are just a couple), and despite there being absolutely nowhere else near there to stay.

The Days Inn was not the Ritz and we preferred the next-door McDonald's to the crowded inn breakfast room (except we grabbed an apple and banana), but the room was squeaky clean, carpet seemed new, beds totally serviceable (slept like babies), TV fine, plenty of towels and soaps and shampoo, there was tea/coffee in room, stellar wi-fi, plus a fridge and microwave which we love a fridge for our drinks and snacks.

If the walls were thin, we didn't notice (but we hiked so were dog tired). No noise, fights, drama or jerks, etc., like you often encounter at value motels. We saw desk staff change three times, all were courteous.

Environment felt super safe, which Trenton seems like a smallish, laid-back place; sensibility there is very outdoors-loving and all around the town there's scenic roads to drive and an amazing hang-gliding place where you can observe ultra-lights towing hang gliders up high and then you can watch them drift down.

Back in town, look nearby for Thatchers BBQ place with outside seating and screened porch: long and varied menu, great food and super-friendly service.

If I had to say one negative thing, it's that our room had this battered, weirdly tall and oversized awkward table that ate up too much space and which was hard to even get to because it was jammed between one of the beds and the window (used it for laptop but wasn't easy).

Anyhow, if they keep their standards up and their prices down, will always be my choice up that way.
