The Comfort Inn in Tifton Georgia is without a doubt the worst motel I've ever stayed in. It is filthy and noisy! The teenagers upstairs were trying to force their way into some one else's room and were causing a huge disturbance. (I do give the night clerk credit for stopping the noise.)

The pool is indoor, however, has no lights at night. The water appeared to be cloudy and filthy. The pool area is dark and smells moldy and musty.

The furniture in the room is beat-up and appears dirty. The carpet is so stained that we all kept our shoes on.

After seeing the non-cleanliness of the pool and room, I didn't go near the breakfast. We checked out as quickly as possible the next morning.

All-in-all, I would stay far away from this Comfort Inn. In fact, my experience at this motel has soured my view of all Comfort Inns. I will never stay at another one again.

We stay in Tifton often on our way north to visit family. We always stay at the Comfort Inn in Tifton. It is right off the highway, has clean rooms and a very pleasant staff. The 24 hour indoor heated pool is comfortably warm. We have a six year old son who loves to swim, so we look for hotels with this amenity. The breakfast is an expanded continental. It is not the biggest nor the best, but it is fine. I am always surprised when I read reviews that put so much down. We are frequent travelers and this is a very good hotel for cleanliness, location, price, and comfort. Try it!

This is an update on our March 20,2003 stay. I have been billed for three rooms in June, July, and one other in July. They swear that my credit card number is out of their system but I am still being billed. I am going to cancell that credit card to stop the problem. I would advise you to stay elswhere.
