We really LOVED staying at the 1884 Paxton House Inn!
The Inn is located in the Historic Area and is within walking distance to downtown Thomasville. The breakfasts here are terrific! The room(s) are IMMACULATE and BEAUTIFUL - This Inn is BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED!! Susie and Wanda are WONDERFUL hosts - extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area... I highly recommend this Inn to anyone who wants to stay in the Thomasville area.

Wonderful getaway weekend. We stayed in the carriage house. Immaculate accomodations, perfect service, great food. We LOVED the owner, she has a story or two to tell, ask her about her previous career as a military officer.

We have had the opportunity to stay at many wonderful B&Bs, and small inns. The Paxton Inn is just about as perfect as a B&B can be! The home is immaculate, brilliantly furnished, comfortable, convenient, historic, quiet, elegant. The Innkeeper, Susie, is an energetic woman who makes the B&B run smoothly and efficiently. Delicious and delightfully presented breakfasts, warm cookies, delicious chocolates were available every day. I wish we had a reason to visit South Georgia more often - what a treat to stay at the Paxton Inn!

I had never stayed at a B&B before, but I can't imagine anything better than this. Miss Susie makes you feel like your staying with family. the rooms are impeccable and the food is even better. I was there on business and was able to take advantage of the internet connection which was first rate. All around a great place to stay.
