Description: At Moonspin our dough is made fresh every day. Each dough ball is shaped by hand and proofed for over 60 hours before we spin it into a delicious pizza. Our sauces are homemade. We grind our own fennel seed, we grate our own cheese, we grow our own basil and with it we blend our own pesto. When in season we grow our own tomatoes and greens for our salads. We insist on creating the best salad dressings to pour over the freshest salad greens we can gather. The breadsticks are rolled and cut to order. Nothing is pre-made. We carefully choose our wines and our beers to compliment our menu. We buy organic and local as much as we possibly can. Even most of our paper products are “green.” We are passionate about our desserts which we make in-house and from scratch. From dough to dessert all of our recipes are of our own creation. We are dedicated to the art of pizza making. For us, pizza is not fast food; pizza is fine food!

“So many options”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013 via mobile

Best pizza ever to our family. Crust is made with care. Can get regular toppings, but all kinds of specialty toppings like roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes, eggplant, etc. Pesto sauce is awesome and drink list is surprisingly good. Have to try it and know you'll return! Open Wednesday - Saturday. Oh, don't forget the melt in your mouth cookies for dessert. We had chocolate peanut butter. Yummy!!

“Mini calzone is more than enough!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We LOVE italian food and were very pleased to find this little place in Thomasville on a recent visit. It's a very casual atmosphere and the artwork on the walls are from local artists. The dough on the calzone was perfect! We're so glad the waiter suggested the mini instead of the regular calzone because it was more than enough. Everything about it was delicious - sauce, cheese, toppings. There were so many items on the menu that were tempting so if we visit Thomasville again, we will definitely return to try something else. :)

“Good pizza. Creative menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Inside very noisy. Outside relaxing. Took a long time to get pizza but it is a Friday night and very busy. A lot to choose from on menu. Tasted good. Wish they offered single slice option at night so could try a couple different types. Worth a try if in Thomasville and hungry for pizza

The pizza here is so good! Fresh ingredients, good crust, and helpful staff. The lover's moon pizza is awesome, the pesto makes it delicious!

“The BEST pizza in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

Gourmet pizza at it's finest...everything made FRESH and a crust you wish you had the recipe for! But you can't have it because it's a secret! : ) And it's no wonder. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Don't miss this one!
