This hotel was absolutely wonderful The staff could not have been any friendlier..front desk personnel, room staff, house keeping..the pool, the bar-restaurant..everything was above and beyond the expected. The surrounding park, absolutely beautiful campground, kayaking, paddleboat, fishing..everything in one complex..

Room Tip: come and have a good time. everyroom was excellent

The Marriott Evergreen has got a great location just inside the main gate of Stone Mountain Park. The park offers hiking, history, a lake, golf facility and special events area. We were there for the Yellow Daisy Festival, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. The most helpful staff were the guys around back at the loading dock, where we had to receive multiple packages over the course of our stay. They made it easy to get to our stuff, and offered to assist every time we were there. The rest of the staff were courteous, but not memorable.

The hallways and rooms seemed dated to us, and a bit dark. The first room we were given smelled strongly of smoke, so we were moved to another, although no apology for the inconvenience was given. The room did have a little balcony and a view of the lake through the trees, which was nice. A late-night dinner at the sports bar downstairs was underwhelming, and service was excruciatingly slow, though polite. The lobby is clean and modern.

I think it's a little lame they only offer a $10 food credit for the entire stay to Platinum members. I opted for points instead, but they weren't credited. I had to call and track them down after my stay to get even that. Overall it is a nice spot, and I wouldn't avoid it, but I wouldn't seek it out either if there were other options.

We chose this hotel for a weekend visit as an alternative to staying in a city-centre property, and we were so pleased we had decided to stay at Stone Mountain. This is a large resort-style property, which caters for a large number of events, but despite its scale it provides a friendly relaxing environment, and delivers a great experience for individual guests. Standards of maintenance are high, and all of the employees whom we met were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dining in the Waterside Restaurant, and took away happy memories.

Room Tip: Although some rooms are classified 'Lake View', the views may be obscured by trees.

I can’t describe what a pleasure was to stay at Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort. The staff was AMAZING!!! Very friendly and attentive…Whatever we requested we had it in minutes. The resort is in woods surrounded by lake on one side…imagine, you can hear the frogs and crickets making noises at night…the swimming pool stays open till late (I believe till 11:30pm) and it was a big plus because there is not much to do in the park late nights. The only thing we had to follow up every evening was the towels that disappeared quickly from the poolside… We had to call the front desk to request the towels and at some point we even started joking to continue calling them after we would return home as the people rushed to get the them after every time we called. There was a bar in the lower level that stayed open till late but the kitchen closes early…they even opened the kitchen for us after midnight when they found out we were hungry and lazy to drive for food out of the park…The parking lot had plenty of space for our car… You can park at your own or use the valet parking…The resort is huge and beautiful…If you are going to stay in Stone Mountain book this hotel…You will not regret…We had an amazing time and felt like we were in our own castle!!! Thank you Evergreen team for making our vacation exceptional!!!

Room Tip: Request poolview or lakeview...Parkingview sucks!!!

Checked into the Evergreen Marriott for two days and left totally relaxed. I was quite impressed with the beautiful grounds, lovely swimming pool and the hotel restaurants.

Everyone from the front staff to the restaurant servers were very professional and provided exceptional service. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Stone Mountain Park.

Just had a wonderful week at Stone Mtn Park and stayed at evergreen. The staff I'd wonderful...especially a young man who is bellman/concierge named Alan. So helpful. Friendly. Accommodating. Room was beautiful. Request room overlooking lake on second floor. Great view plus that puts you on same level as pool which is lovely. But ask for LAKE view. It's breathtaking.

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at Evergreen. The food at the restaurant was very good as always. We were upgraded to a suite with was very nice. The pool and hot tub were great places to relax. We even got a couples massage, which was outstanding, and a perfect way to cap off the stay.

Room Tip: We were in 442, which was noisy since the ice machine was across from the room. In the future, I wi...
