I could not take my eyes off this beautiful carving! The grounds were perfectly manicured and the history lesson was enjoyable.

“The shear size”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

It is difficult to understand just how large the carving is unless you visit the museum which is an additional charge. It is massive!

“Huge!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

You only realize how big this is when you go by in the skytram and listen to the employee talk about it - also in the museum where you can stand next to a replica of a horse head carving.

“A taste of the Old South”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

The skylift to the top of Stone Mountain was beautiful, even though it was a cloudy day. We could see for miles and miles at the top and spent several hours just sitting on the large stones and watching the clouds lift. In the musuem was interesting and told about the Civil War battles that took place in that area.

“Impressive”

Paid $10 but there was no laser/fireworks show that night, which we didn't know about until we paid admission.
