After reading reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites, I was a bit hesitant to stay at the Country Hearth but it turned out fine. We were traveling to Atlanta for the March nascar race and usually hotel prices are jacked up for those weekends. I found a great rate on Travelocity ($44/night) and thought it was probably too good to be true. Since we would be spending most of our time at the track, we'd only be in the room to sleep so I thought we'd go ahead with the reservation. We had an early morning flight and arrived at the motel around 10:30 and we're surprised that we were able to check in. We had a little trouble understanding the desk clerk but she was very friendly offering us bottled water and granola bars upon arrival. Although not fancy by no means, we found our room to be clean. The room had two queen beds, small refrigerator and microwave, sink outside of bathroom, and small table w/two chairs. Free internet service was available and it worked great. Continental breakfast included waffles, fruit, muffins, hard boiled eggs, bagels, etc. This motel used to be a Holiday Inn and was in a decent area with several other motels and restaurants nearby. After a long day at the track, we'd walk across the street to Dairy Creme for a treat. Grocery stores and a Walmart were within a mile. They do have an outdoor pool which we didn't use and a health club across the street. We've stayed at worse places and wouldn't hesitate to return. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, you'd be fine here.
