We stayed five nights. The 1st night, the Internet was down, with no timeline given for resolution of the issue. It was working the next day, but only 1 of the 2 computers in the business center ever worked. We were able to connect to the Wi-Fi available at the hotel across the street. The 2nd night, the keycards to our room no longer worked, and we had to get them reactivated at the front desk. The person at the front desk asked us to give our room number out loud in front of other hotel guests and did not ask for ID when reactivating the cards. This did not make me feel confident in our safety at the hotel. When I asked for a bottle opener at the front desk, the staff person offered to come up to my room with a staple remover to try to open a couple of Coke bottles. I found this inappropriate and brought the bottles down to the desk. He was not able to locate a bottle opener and fortunately, a fellow hotel guest came to the rescue with a bottle opener before the staff person stabbed himself with staple remover attempting to open the bottles. One night, when we asked for more toilet paper at the front desk, we were told that the whole hotel was out and that the shipment would not arrive until the next day. We ended up going to the Target down the street to buy our own. Upon checkout we found out that there was really toilet paper, just downstairs where the front desk person was unaware of it. That is ridiculous and no one even apologized when we brought it to their attention. One reason for choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. The 1st night, we found out that the pool is not heated, so it was freezing. It was raining and the roof was also leaking a lot of water into the pool area. The front desk staff had no idea it was happening until I reported it. The pool was then "closed for maintenance" during the remainder of our stay. This was very disappointing. One of the TVs in our room did not work right as there was a huge delay before the channel would change even when using a different remote. We had a room with a sofa bed and housekeeping took the blanket that went with the sofa bed away, and we had to ask for another at the front desk. Housekeeping was also inconsistent in the number of towels they supplied to our room each day. If one or two of these mishaps had happened during our stay, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was very disappointed in the occurrence of all of these incidents. I chose this hotel partly because of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, but, at this point, I would not recommend this hotel to others.
