I have stayed at the Cloister for over 20 years. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious. The Service staff members are very attentive. The beach is pristine. Having said that, I was a bit disappointed in the restaurants. The Italian may have been ok for pizza but the remainder of the entrees were average at best with very above average prices. The breakfast in the Georgian room was excellent, but the Georgian room was closed on Sunday night. The beach club was closed for renovation. The old Cloister had a large dining room, you were given a specific table, the wait staff and host/hostess were there year after year and always remembered you. I will always remember Winston. Alternatively the Beach Club had a great buffet you could dine in. It is a shame this aspect was not preserved. The tennis courts are well maintained. The fitness center is first rate. Overall, the Cloister is still a top notch facility
