“An EXCELLENT museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

This is a very well presented museum. The exhibits were very informative and tell about a part of Georgia history I knew nothing about. I highly recommend this if you have any interest in art or pottery.

“Pottery, local art, bright sunny rooms, nice setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

Best place in the area to get to know pottery and it's history. Attached to the Nacoochee Center [selling local art -amazing] and the Theater [performing arts] you'll get to see more than just pots. The museum takes a while to walk through and absorb. Go.

“neat museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This well-designed museum is attached to a community theater /gallery/ gift shop. You know those creepy face jugs that are all the rage in folk art circles? This is the place to learn about the family that popularized them. Among the modest collection of folk pottery, don't miss the fascinating short video that features the Meadors family explaining the old fashioned process for how they produced their famous pottery.
