“Such a sweet little inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

We have been to St. Simons several times and had never found this little inn. We're so glad we found it for this trip and we're sure to come back. Location is excellent; the village and the pier are within walking distance. We stayed in a king deluxe room which was truly deluxe. It was spacious, comfortable, well decorated, and so relaxing. We has a couple of cool days so we were happy to have our comfy room to "hang out" in. There was a cozy fire in the pub/inn lobby where guests could relax, too. There was a continental breakfast in the morning which was adequate....... one could toast bagels, muffins, etc. and could make waffles. There was cereal and fruit, juice and coffee. A nice touch for coffee drinkers is that coffee is available all day. There was entertainment in the pub on Thursday evening; surprisingly the noise was not too troubling. This is a nice little inn on a wonderful island. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: King deluxe is wonderful!

This was my third visit to the island and each time, we have stayed at the village inn and pub. This time we brought friends from NC and we gave them our favorite room, number 202. They loved it and we opted for the deluxe king, number 214. It was great and so quiet, just a short walk for coffee in the AM and happy hour starts at 5 PM. Very reasonable prices and if you are staying there, just add it to your room rate. Don't forget tips for great service that is gladly rendered.

Room Tip: Always get a room on the backside that overlooks the pool area!

Went here for a sister/mom visit for just one night! What a great find!
The Inn is so close to shops and restaurants you don't have to get in the car and drive if you don't want. The Inn is charming and friendly! The rooms are spacious and well appointed! The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in in any hotel!
We loved the cozy pub where the fireplace was kept burning all day and into the evening. RB, the bartender is a perfect host and mixmaster and helped us decide where to eat and what we should see while in the area. This was a Thursday night and they had a 1-Man band playing great dance music. We danced among ourselves and some of the friendly locals. I will definitely stay here again for my next visit. If you have any trouble with stairs request a room on the first floor as there are no elevators.

We debated whether to stay here because there are many fine B&Bs and boutique hotels on St. Simons. We feel we really lucked out. Great service at front desk, nicely appointed room, very clean, free internet and a lovely pub on first floor. Very close to village area which is good for shopping and great dining.

Room Tip: all rooms seem to be quiet and centered around the outdoor pool. Music is available at the pub on T...

Our third visit to the Village Inn - this time with two other couples for a January birthday weekend (5 of the 6). As before, the rooms are not big, but they are comfortable and clean. We love the pub as a place to sit and talk with our friends (and meet new ones) while having a drink. The location is great since it means that you really don't have to drive anywhere to have a meal and do some shopping or sightseeing.

The pub is a fun place, with live music on some nights and happy hours every day. The breakfast each morning is fine - not world class, but very reasonable for the price and other benefits.

Property located within walking distance of village and found room very clean and comfortable. The value was also appreciated. There just 1 night but would come back for a longer stay. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Got a goods night rest after a long day of traveling. Would highly recommend to anyone in area.
