Sal's is tiny, but the experience is fun and the atmosphere relaxed. The owner (Sal) cooks the pizzas right in front of you if you're lucky enough to sit at the bar, where there are only about 10 spots. The pizza is excellent. (Tossed) Salad, so-so. There are about 6 beers on the menu with many more wines and a well-stocked bar. My wife and I visited on a Wed. night and were seated after about 5 minutes. We were lucky, though. All of the larger parties waited a lot longer, and we were initially told it'd be an hour before they got to us. It's loud and can be cramped, but if you like to socialize and have a good time this is a great choice for exceptional NY style pizza. Well worth a visit!
