We were staying at The Cloister at Sea Island, and enjoyed the chance to get away and explore St Simon's Island. It IS a little strange to find such a good restaurant in a shopping mall, and we passed the turn-off several times before we accepted that we were actually in the right place, but the restaurant itself is very attractive. We had our sons with us, and they enjoy eating out, but I wouldn't take young children or any child who is at all fussy as the menu is short and quite grown-up. Having said that, it was all very good, and we all enjoyed it, particularly the youngest who had short ribs, which were succulent.
