“Great food near Cloudland Canyon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2012

This welcoming little restaurant is only about a mile from the entrance to Cloudland Canyon State Park, a popular hiking spot in north Georgia. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner - the "meat and three" offered a long list of vegetables from which to choose, and each one we sampled was perfectly prepared. Service was friendly and fast, and prices were very reasonable.

“Complimentary Dessert Capped Off Great Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2011

We went on a Sunday. Restaurant was busy but there was no wait when we arrived. I had the fried chicken and it was very good, but the sides are, imo, the best part of the meal. The fried okra is fresh and not pre-breaded. The squash casserole is excellent. They also served everyone a small piece of peanut butter pie. I love peanut butter and the dessert was so awesome, the mrs. got the recipe which they were kind enough to share.

“Great Country Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2011

1st time visiting this restaurant, stopped while out on a motorcycle ride Sunday AM. The restaurant was very clean, staff was very friendly and seats approx 60 people. The breakfast menu consisted of typical country fare: eggs, biscuit sandwiches, pancakes, grits, gravy, bacon, hash browns, etc.

The coffee was fresh, smoked bacon was cut thick, and the gravy was homemade from bacon grease. You can get the hash browns loaded with cheese, onions, peppers and tomatoes. This will be a reoccurring stop when I am out that way.
