This review comes from an average everyday family of 4 with 2 young children on an average income. I stayed at this hotel for 3 days an 2 nights during the holidays in December 2008.
I have never been to a hotel that pays so much attention to detail. There was only one problem out of the whole experience that I will get to in a minute.
First...I stayed in a room with a king sized bed that was joined with another room for my children that had two queen beds. My parents stayed in a suite that was the size of about 2 and a half rooms so we could enjoy Christmas with the family. I was so impressed how clean all the rooms were and the hotel was beautiful. The Lobby with huge with a big flat screen and serves coffee, juice, and fresh baked cookies for the kids all day. In the morning the breakfast is awesome...fresh biscuits, sasuage, eggs, gravy, toast, bagels, fresh fruit, danish's, cereal, and so much more for free everyday.
Here is the part I fell in love with. When you arrive and every morning or when they clean your room, they replace 2 nestle bottles of water in the refridgerator, put a bad of sun chips on the desk, and about 3-5 chocolate bars on the dresser. Mmmmm...
Everyroom has a refridgerator, microwave, tv, cold ac, and I guess recently they upgraded to a new line of bed sheets, curtains, towels, soap, and shamoo's that are great....I was so sad I had to leave because the room was dark, cool, and bed was soooooo comfortable.
There are a few downsides to this hotel, but there aren't many.
They have free internet in almost all the rooms. In my two rooms you had to connect the DSL cord to the computer and it was easy to use and free. It was a bummer it wasn't wireless because you had to strech the cord to make it reach the bed. In my parents suite for some reason they said the room was to big to have an internet connection. Hummm?
Unless I missed it, the vending area had only 1 coke machine that costed $1 for a 12oz can. But there are about every fastfood place out front of the hotel that you can dream of.
Here is the CRAZY part. This is a notice to everyone that would like to take a shower at night. To turn the shower on, you have to pull the nozzle that shoots out the water in a downward motion. It looks like it attached and almost everybody messes with it for about 20 minutes then calls the front desk. It is a good laugh though. Again, the part where the water pours out you have to pull on....
I probably missed a bunch of positive things about this hotel, but it is the best hotel in the area and it is right of I-75 just below Chattanooga. Simply amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
