My husband checked into the property on Saturday, February 10, 2007 and checked out on Monday, February 12, 2007. I have the receipt showing this and JUST the charges for those nights. The following week when we received our bank statement, I noticed a charge for $209.44 on it. I called my bank and was told this was from the Wingate Inn. The total amount on my receipt is $109.76. That's an overcharge of $99.68. We contacted the hotel and were told that it would be taken care of. As of the 26th of February, we have spoken to the manager numerous times, and it has not been taken care of. Please watch your wallets, because this place is a ripoff.
