“The way Barbecue should be”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

What a great find! Tucked in beside a gas station this place is a true hidden gem. We were actually greeted by the owner who took time to go over the menu and make us feel welcome. Family ordered a variety of items from the menu so we got a nice sample of everything. Baby back ribs- awesome fall off the bone delicious! Pulled pork, Brisket and Chicken were all great even without adding sauce, and even better adding one of the barbecue sauces. Sides were a huge hit as well, green beans full of flavor, traditional Mac-n-cheese, southern style potato salad and coleslaw- ALL great! And last but not least the Brunswick Stew was right on one of the best we have had! Nothing fancy just great food! We will be hitting this place on our way back North!!!

“Too much butter”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

My fiancée and I were driving to Florida from CT and stopped for a quick dinner. The place was not all that busy for a Saturday evening. We each ordered a meat plate. The brisket was quite nice, pork and chicken ok but somewhat dry. The four different sauces were interesting and good. The side dishes were disappointing. The potato salad was undercooked, corn on the cob soggy and most importantly the toast had sooooo much butter on it that is was not edible (and my fiancée is always appalled at my use of butter....,). Overall, I would keep driving down 95 and find another BBQ joint.

“Just yum. Really good stuff. And super value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

No matter what I type here it will not do the food justice. And the word is out. We were early for lunch (11:15a) but by noon there was a line out the door.

Had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. Great stuff and a nice portion. Good sweet tea too.

And lunch for two for $15 is a steal.

I will go back and recommend it highly.
