I want to officially make a complaint about Travelodge Savannah Pooler. Now I know first hand the meaning of "roach hotel". never in my 55 years of life have I stayed in a motel as horrible as this. my girlfriends and I stayed in a room infested with bed bugs. I saved the bugs and will have them anylized to have it identified. they are visible and are the size of a flea. One of the ladies was bitten in 3 places on her body. When we return home, we will have to fumigate our laggage and clothes and we will need to get a soap specifically for body and hair for lice to wash ourselves.

Furthermoore, in the room the air conditioner leaked and the floor under it was wet. The room was a "no smoking" room and reeked of stale ciggarettes. When we notified the front desk about the wet floor, we were told that there were no rooms available to move. As for the oder, they gave us a spray bottle to neutralize the smell and demanded the bottle returned asap.

At check out, the motel manager discounted one night of 3 nights of stay. never the less, it was a horrible experience. this is a very serious matter and we want to know what we can do to prevent this from happening to us as well as to other guests in the future. Thank you for your help.

We chose the travelodge over the microtel because it seemed much nicer from the outside. There were signs everywhere that said 'new!' which may have been the case for the outside, but the rooms were clearly not new. The room was okay, but there was a very strong odor of airfreshner, and the surfaces of the lamps, hairdryer, air conditioner, etc. had clearly not been cleaned and were dusty and grimy. Woke up sneezy and puffy eyes. We were in a 'handicapped accessible' room with a roll in shower. As I have checked out many accessible rooms for a family member in a wheelchair, I can say this room was not accessible. Not enough room for a transfer in the bathroom, and just enough room around the bed for a wheelchair - barely. Noise from the parking lot out the back through the night. The staff was lovely and very helpful, and its proximity to Savannah was also good. Probably would not stay there again.

iA 2 Star Mohotel. Well size room, Slight odor. Large Bathroom. Bad Breakfast. Pet Frendly. 99 Dollars a Night worth about 39. IT IS WHAT IT IS. Good for long trips with furry freinds.

We stayed at the Travelodge Suites in Pooler over the Thanksgiving holiday. We chose this hotel because the price was reasonable, it had a 3-diamond AAA rating and it allowed pets. I am particular about where I stay and won't stay in anything rated below 3 diamonds if I can help it. The check-in attendant was helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was bright and spacious, and the natural-ingredient toiletries were nice. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast fare that you get at most chain motels ... cereal, toast, juice, donuts. We went to breakfast at closing time and there was still plenty to eat. The only problem we encountered was with the check-out staff member. She was not rude but simply indifferent to guests' needs. Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay here and would not hesitate to stay here again.
