Had lived nearby for years before I finally visited. Be sure and take one of their vans. Fun for all ages.

“Keep your windows over half way up!”

Lots of VERY friendly animals. They will comeup and stick their heads in your car for treats you purchase there. We got YAK slimed! Our daughter loves it!

“Loved it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2011

Sure, its mostly deer and variations on cows, but we laughed ourselves sick a this place.

The animals will all but climb into your car with you, and are tame and gentle. Our 8 year old son had a blast, but this 40something was delighted as well.

A bit on the expensive side, but in retrospect, worth the experience and photos...

“Wild Park, Wild Time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

Dont expect the best, but worth the time. Childrfen love this park. The animals come right to your vehicle, except for the larger ones like the Rhinos.
The price is modest and you can get a better deal if you go in a large group and rent a van.
The drive takes about 45 minutes if you take your time and feed the animals.
there is also a walking trail afterwards where there is a petting zoo, and is included in the price. The zoo is not great but can take half a day if you want to have a little fun away from town.

“Animal Safari a fun time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

We are a military family and we live in Montgomery, AL. We drove the 1.5 hrs. to Pine Mountain, GA for this visit. When we got there, all the safari vehicles were rented and there was an hour wait, so we just went in our own vehicle, a Toyota Sienna mini-van. It is not a new car, and I wasn't too worried. We bought plenty of food and set out. Well, the very first animal to literally STOP us in the road was a Buffalo! He jammed his whole head in our car looking for food, and scared the kids half to death! So, I quickly learned that I should roll the window down the whole way....duh! After that, we kept them only cracked and handed the food pellets through the cracks for their tongues to get. We got to feed many different animals, and our kids even loved throwing the food out the car and watching the animals eat it. They felt safer and still loved it. We had a giraffe come right up and poke his head in, which was awesome. My car was very dirty afterwards....lots of animal tongue slobber all over my windows, and down the sides of the doors. Food pellets littered the seats and floor also. Many animals also have huge horns and they do and will scrape along your car...so if you have a nice vehicle, take theirs! I had no damage though, just needed a GOOD cleaning afterwards. We had a great time. We were done driving through in about an hour, and then we ate lunch there, which wasn't bad, just slow and busy, and then went through the walk-thru portion, which has animals in cages. That part only took us about 20 minutes, but the kids were tired by then. It was a fun day and worth the drive!
