We stay at Hampton Inns very often and are familiar with all their amenities and rooms. This hotel is by far the best option for the traveler staying in Perry, as the rooms are extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The main problem for us is that the hotel is over priced for the amenities that they offer. We have stayed in properties offering much more for less money. There is no indoor pool (I know in the summer this is no problem, but for this money you would expect it) and the breakfast is very limited. The breakfast area is small in comparison to other Hamptons and the choices are disappointing. As we have stayed at many Hampton Inns along I-75, we did feel that this hotel did not offer the value that the others do. Also, the number of appealing restaurants is practically non-existent. One of our major concerns was that the hotel is fenced in, which makes one wonder about the security and the safety of parking your car in the lot. We rarely have second guessed our reservation with Hampton, but when we drove through this industrial fence, it did make us wonder if we had made the right decision. If you can, try for another town along this route.
