Well as much as I want to like this place, I was reminded during our visit today why it's been so long since we've been there. We got there around 12:45 after church and waiting not too long for a seat. We ordered right away and our food showed up at about 2pm. Seriously? An hour for BBQ?
The food was alright. My wife got the salad and loaded baked potato and noticed the salad seemed smaller and there was much less brisket topping the tater. She needed a chisel to eat the tater it was so overcooked. My medium well burger was also well overcooked, but it had a ton of pulled pork on it which was a pleasant surprise. Others enjoyed their smoked turkey and BBQ chicken.
Service, besides being slow, was distracted and mostly absent. They made several errors with our order.
