tonite was our 2nd time there in less than 2 weeks. First time we were taken by friends, food was just ok, so we thought we'd give them a second chance. The service was horrible, their attitude was 'as if we were bothering them just being there'. Had to send back the Pork Saltimboca - extremely small portion, over-cooked and tough as leather, no taste,... Just a small, thin pork cutlet pan seared, that was it,... Very, very disappointing, especially for the price. (more expensive than a veal dish)! At first they just took it back, no questions, no apology, no offer to replace it with another dish - until a Mgr or Boss showed up, finally.. Asked "did I want something else", and "that it would take 15 minutes or so". They were very annoyed, and let us know it ! Maybe because I was raised in an Italian household in NY & was expecting too much, but even their marinara sauce tasted more like Chef-Boy-Ar-Georgia than it did a homemade sauce !
Not done here, but I think you get the picture. Hey, the appetizer was pretty decent, but how bad can you screw-up toasting Italian bread & putting a few tomatoes on it?!! Hardly saw our waiter, couldn't get a drink refill, had no cheese for our pasta - he mumbled something in Italian that I know for sure was derogatory, but my Italian is pretty bad, so I won't try to translate, but I'd heard my grandparents say similar things & know it wasn't nice.
This was a '2 strikes you're out' for us. Sorry folks, ya lost our business!
