I cannot believe what happened AGAIN at the Clubhouse Inn in Norcross, Georgia.
Two months ago, we had a very bad stay at the same hotel (which I posted on this board - my comments have been deleted now). I sent an email off to the company letting them know how bad our experience was. After this stay, I received a phone call and a very nice letter stating that we would receive a "free night" for all of our trouble.
We were in town due to an emergency with a close family friend. So, we went back to the Inn and had made reservations so we expected a "free room". Well first of all, they didn't have our reservations, the room where the fax machine was was LOCKED at 3:00pm and he said that he was sorry, but he couldn't get the reservation! Because the manager had "left for the day"! So I called on my cell phone to cancel these reservations, and then I proceeded to try and get a room, while showing the young man (this was the same young man that was there the other time that we had HORRIBLE experience with) and he said that there were "NEW OWNERS" and they WOULD NOT HONOR OUR FREE ROOM.
So we had to spend unexpected money on a trip which "should have been free!"
He then advised us that we could get it for $49.00 a night, at that point we had enough bad experience with this chain so we said no thank you.
