Hi. I just returned from a 3-night business stay at the La Quinta Inn Norcross in the northeast corner of greater Atlanta. I've stayed at several hotels in and around Atlanta over the last couple of years and have found this one to be particularly above average (though this was my first time at this hotel.)
Here are a couple of the highlights:
1) good location for doing business in the northeast metro-Atlanta area (I had meetings in Canton, Athens, and Decatur)
2) quiet business park style area
3) very good price (I paid $59/night plus tax)
4) big room with desk, king bed, free wireless, nice free breakfast
5) good TV with 4 HBO channels
6) easy access to the I-75
The low points:
1) Poor flushing toilets (hold the trigger for a while and it will all work out)
2) a few noisy neighbors in the hall (not the hotel's fault I guess)
3) not particularly close to downtown, though this wasn't a problem for me. I guess you could get downtown in <30 minutes depending on traffic.
Good luck in your hotel search,
Dan
