Real good service and food. Waiting time is not too bad.

“Won't do this restaurant ever again.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

My family and I have eaten at this Olive Garden for many years. Tonight my husband and I went for dinner, have always loved their salads and bread. Well, tonight wasn't a time to even try the food. We went early, around 5:30, since the last time we tried on a weekend it was very crowded. Tonight there were maybe 15-20 cars in the parking lot. We walked in to an empty lobby, gave our number--2, and expected to be seated. After looking at some charts we were told that we'd have to wait 5 minutes. Not a very long time, but for an empty restaurant? After 5 minutes my husband asked if there was a problem, he was told there was a problem with servers. Would have been content to go into the bar for a glass of wine or something, but that was not offered. Our hostess, who lacked some people skills from the very beginning, said we could be seated soon or we could just leave. That was a no brainer! We left and do not plan to return. Even with gas prices increasing daily, we can drive to another Olive Garden. Or we can just skip Olive Garden all together.

“Incompetent, unprofessional and slow gossiping non server!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

We waited quite a few minutes to get seated and then when the non server Mona G. came to wait on us... she couldn't even pronounce what was on the menu and told us to point to the food! Never saw a manager and the non server never came back see if everything was okay or if we needed anything else!! The plates that the actual dinner was served on was dirty and the beverage glass had finger and lipstick prints on it!!! I was only able to eat a lukewarm spinach dip appetizer... Have no idea what the actual food tasted like.. refused to order anything else.
This particular server had 2 other tables in which she treated them in the same manner. We actually overheard her speaking to other coworkers about how she hated her job, she did'nt feel like being there and that she really wish that the hostess would not have seated us (my table) in her area. This was the last straw for me... I immediately got up and asked the hostess at the door for a manager. To our surprise the manager/chef came to us and was well aware of the server and her attitude and even admitted that she had issues with customers earlier that day!! okay.... Why is this woman still working here and destroying the reputation of a good establishment?! The manager then gave us a gift card and stated he would handle the matter to the fullest extent being that she has had repeated incidents the entire day. I am never to return... we gave the gift card away. I used to love Olive Garden!!!

Good place to go when traveling -- you know what you'll get, fair pricing, friendly service, and late night hours.
