Wow, what a treat this place is. Spectacular sushi menu, great Thai food and reasonable prices. This needs to be your new spot.

“Good Japanese food in Marietta Georgia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

When we visit Atlanta to see our son and his family we always meet a cousin for lunch in Marietta because it is halfway between where she lives and Atlanta. Over the years we probably have been to 8-10 restaurants in that city. We never go back the idea being to try new places.

This past Friday, we chose a Japanese restaurant. The place was very nice and almost full which says that the locals like it. It is about half a block from the square and there is public parking across the street.

The menu is fairly large and has the typical sushi, tempura, etc, found in Japanese restaurants. I had a seafood dish made up of scallops, shrimp and lobster in a teriyaki sauce which was pretty good. It came with a green salad and white rice. It was more than I could eat. At $20.75 it was the most expensive entree item in the menu.

The service was fine. The crowd was not noisy so catching up with family news was easy.

All in all, a perfect lunch.

“Yum.”

Thaicoon is really close to the square and worth the extra couple of steps to get there. Great Thai food and excellent service! Their yellow curry was fantastic!

“A hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

We visited Thaicoon with friends for the first time a few weeks ago. The outside doesn't suggest the expansive restaurant inside. And the menu is equally expansive. We each had four different meals, each one expertly prepared and delicious. The wait star was courteous, friendly, and helpful.

“Best sushi in Cobb co”

Great food and friendly staff. Lots of options and varied menu. A great departure from the usual California and bagel rolls. Delish!
