This location of Pappadeaux isn't much different than any other location, which is good. Consistency is good. I find these restaurants to be fine, I don't think they are over the top, but I think they deliver a decent meal and it's consistent.
I ordered the Shrimp gumbo and the sausage was placed on top of the gumbo before serving, and there was a lot of sausage in a single cup of soup. I know some people would like all that sausage, but to me it was over done. I then had the Greek Salad, which was plenty for one. My only issue is that in my entire salad there was only 2 of the Greek olives in the entire salad and I do like them. Overall the salad was fine, I just would have liked some more olives in the salad. 2 olives??? Really??? Wow...that is cost control like some accountant would do. (Hey, I am a CPA and also an attorney, so I can make fun of both!).
Overall, I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this place, but to me it didn't hit home runs. Good food, yes, over the top - Nope.
